The Anne Arundel Soil Conservation District plays a role in the prevention of erosion and sediment delivery for construction development activity. The Urban Division of the District reviews all sediment and erosion control plans for proposed construction projects in Anne Arundel County.  The District partners with Anne Arundel County officials to ensure that developers plan and apply established  practices for the management of runoff and the control of soil erosion during construction.
